Frequently asked questions
I lost my CV. Can you recover it?
If you saved it to a free account, sign in and open Your account. Otherwise your CV is stored only in the browser you used, so we cannot see or restore it. Try the same browser and device you built it on. If you exported a backup file, open the builder and use Import backup. To avoid this in future, use Export backup or save your CV to a free account.
My PDF download failed. What should I do?
Wait a minute and try again. If it keeps failing, email us with the browser and device you are using and roughly when it happened. Please do not attach your CV unless we ask.
Is CompleteCV free?
Yes. Every template, the PDF download, the letter tools, the ATS checker and the CV review are free, with no watermark. You can build without signing up; downloading the PDF and the CV review need a free account, with no payment details.
