How to get the discount
- Create a free account (or sign in) on CompleteCV.
- On your account page, under Plan and billing, enter your school email address.
- Type in the 6-digit code we send to that address.
- Choose a plan. The student price is applied automatically at checkout.
Your school email is only used to confirm you're a student. Your account can keep using your personal email for sign-in and receipts.
Nominate your university
Partner universities can get a bigger discount for all their students, and their careers office can point students to the guides and templates. If you'd like your university to partner with us, send your careers office a short email. It opens a ready-written message you can edit before sending.

Frequently asked questions
Do students need to pay to make a CV?
No. Building your CV with any template and downloading the PDF are free for everyone, with no watermark (downloading needs a free account). The discount is only for Pro, which adds extras such as more saved CVs, the job tracker and more help with writing.
Which email addresses count as a school email?
University and college addresses such as those ending in .edu, .edu.ng, .ac.uk or .ac.za, and other academic domains. We send a 6-digit code to that address to confirm it's yours. If your school address isn't accepted, contact support@completecv.com.
How long does the discount last?
It applies to every plan you buy while your school email is confirmed: monthly, quarterly or yearly.
What does "nominate your university" do?
It opens an email you can send to your careers office asking them to contact us. Partner universities can get a bigger discount for all their students.
