Modern template
Petal CV Template — Free Download
Petal weaves a lattice of overlapping circles, the classic flower-of-life pattern, through a pale side panel. It is drawn clearly around your photo at the top and softens to a gentle texture behind your contact details and skills. The serif name and calm colours suit counsellors, teachers and wellbeing professionals.

Who the Petal template suits
Petal is a good fit for early and mid-career. At a glance: a pale lilac left panel woven with an overlapping-circle petal lattice, strongest behind a round photo in a white ring, beside a serif name and white main column.

- Teaching
- Wellbeing
- Social work
Designed around a photo, which is common in much of mainland Europe, the Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia. For the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland, switch the photo off: the layout still looks complete without it.
Is Petal ATS-friendly?
Partly. Petal has two columns. Most current applicant tracking systems read two-column PDFs, but some older portals mix the sidebar text into the main column. Use Petal when you email your CV or hand it over; for large online portals, a single-column template such as Dune is the safer choice.
Whichever template you pick, download your PDF and run it through our free ATS checker to see the text a tracking system extracts.
